About the event
Join us for an evening with Canadian blues sensation Marcus Trummer - he is an artist who dares to draw outside the lines, pushing the definitions of traditional genres while still honouring the legacy of his influences. Known for combining blues, soul, R&B, and rock, the singer-songwriter and guitarist from Calgary, Canada, released his debut album ‘From The Start’ in 2024. The ten-song record earned him a nomination for Blues Artist of the Year at the 2025 Western Canadian Music Awards. More recently, he was named Male Blues Vocalist of the Year at the 2026 Canadian Blues Music Awards.
With a guitar amplifier turned up loud and wearing his heart on his sleeve, Trummer can be found on stages around the world. His soulful approach to music and life resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
Beyond Canada, Trummer is quickly establishing an international presence. In 2023, he won the Telluride Blues Challenge, and the following year, made his U.S. debut at the renowned Telluride Blues & Brews Festival. In May 2026, he played Moulin Blues Festival in the Netherlands, marking his first performance in Europe.

Marcus will be supported by the brilliant Eddy Smith - captivating audiences with his unique, husky voice and tasteful piano accompaniment, Eddy has been making his mark on the UK’s growing Americana scene.
