Legendary UK band SPACE bring their Ten Neurotic Fairytales UK tour to Login Lounge, marking 30 years since the release of their debut album Spiders. Fresh from the recording studio, the album is a return to the classic sound of Space as heard on Radio 1, Virgin Radio and the legendary Top of the Pops, TFI and the Big Breakfast.
With over 5 million albums sold worldwide, Space remain one of the UK’s most successful alternative pop bands. Albums Spiders and Tin Planet both achieved double platinum status, spawning era-defining singles including Female of the Species, Neighbourhood, Avenging Angels, Me and You vs The World and Dark Clouds.
Visually, the new era is just as striking. The artwork for Ten Neurotic Fairytales and the tour draws directly from original Space imagery, reworked in collaboration with Jonny Vegas, whose exhibition inspired the band to revisit and reimagine their classic aesthetic.
Known for their witty, darkly observational lyrics and instantly recognisable sound, Space continue to write gritty, edgy pop songs that captivate and surprise, while delivering live shows packed with energy, nostalgia and new material.
