About the event
Join us for an evening of live music in partnership with The Rock Box, as they showcase up-and-coming talent - this is a night of grass-roots music at its best!
You can enjoy performances from:
Leech Rodeo
Fresh off the back of their debut album, Leech Rodeo are back with their signature mix of fuzzy riffs, and mind bending proggy tendencies. Their latest album showcases a new maturity to their songwriting, with tracks like 'Hells Horns' exploring new areas that the four piece band have introduced into their music. However, don't think this means the massive riffs and breakdowns have disappeared, with songs like 'Summoning Vipers', you can guarantee coming home with a sore neck from the unstoppable headbanging.
The Dazed Minded
A band that you may have caught live instore at The Rock Box a couple times in the past few years. The Dazed Minded have rapidly become a local favourite, thanks to their back-to-back banging singles, and must-see live show. Latest single 'Going Home' is the perfect example of the bands signature blend of garage rock scuzziness and earworm melodies. This is a band you will want to see in small venues whilst you still can!
Doops
Local LEGENDS, Doops, have set the standard of what a band should be. Their music reaches beyond what you'd expect from a three piece, with their songs inhabiting a whirlwind mix of psych-rock, shifting tempos, and break neck grooves that keep you on your toes. Just give 'Laika' and 'Idle Hands' a listen and you'll know you're in for a treat.
The Rock Box will be selling records from their store on the night.
This event is £6.00.
